Pierre Chapo (1927-1986) was a renowned French furniture designer and craftsman, celebrated for his exceptional talent and innovative approach to woodworking. Chapo was greatly inspired by French designers Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand, as well as the Bauhaus. Chapo's work gained recognition both nationally and internationally, and his furniture found its way into galleries, museums, and private collections worldwide.
Condition
In perfect vintage condition. The stool has been waxed to refresh the color otherwise it has remained untouched.
